Deepminer, explained.
Deepminer is a first-person 3D mining game that runs in your browser. You dig through six zones of rock, collect ore, and sell it at the hub for ETH on Robinhood Chain.
The ETH is not printed by the game. It comes from the trading fees of the Deepminer coin, $MINER. Every trade of the coin pays a 2% tax. One of those two points goes into a pool shared among the miners. That is the whole economy.
Hold $MINER to play, dig for ore, and get paid in ETH from a pool that the coin's own trading volume fills.
Getting started
- Open the game. Press Start mining. You can walk around and dig with the starting pickaxe without connecting anything.
- Connect a wallet. Use any EVM wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, and similar). The game adds and switches to Robinhood Chain for you.
- Sign the message. One free signature proves the wallet is yours. It moves no funds, costs no gas and grants no approval. Hardware wallets that cannot sign plain messages will not work.
- Hold at least $20 of $MINER in that wallet. This is required to cash out. Holding more unlocks better tools.
- Dig, then sell. Fill your bag, press R to return to the hub, and sell at the booth. ETH is sent to your wallet.
Deepminer needs a computer with a keyboard and mouse. It does not run on phones.

Tools and holding
Your tool depends on the share of the total supply of $MINER that your wallet holds. Everyone starts with the pickaxe. Tools follow your live balance: if you sell coin, your tool can drop; if you buy more, it upgrades.
| Tool | Share of supply | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Pickaxe | $20 of coin | A good iron pickaxe. Everyone starts here. |
| Minecart | 0.04% | A cart to ride in: 1.5x walking speed. Press 2 to call it, E to get in. |
| Rock saw | 0.06% | A spinning hand blade that cuts a hole twice as wide. |
| Hand drill | 0.10% | Hold to grind. Much faster, bigger bite. |
| Saw cart | 0.15% | A small fast cart with two upright saw blades. Cuts a tall slot. |
| Mining cart | 0.25% | The big drill rig. Drive it and bore a wide tunnel. |
| TNT | 0.50% | Right click to set dynamite bundles, left click to blow them all. |
Every miner is paid the same price for the same ore, and every payout is capped the same way (see Caps and fairness). A bigger tool simply fills your bag sooner.
The mine and zones
The mine is a deep vertical cave in six zones. The deeper you go, the more each piece of ore is worth: prices rise by a zone multiplier from 1.00 in the Diggings to 1.25 in the Mushroom Hollows. What you dig stays dug.
| Zone | Starts at | Price multiplier | Rock |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Diggings | 0 m | x1.00 | Dirt |
| The Fossil Sea | 120 m | x1.05 | Bonestone |
| The Frozen Deep | 300 m | x1.10 | Blue ice |
| Magma Works | 550 m | x1.15 | Basalt |
| Sherwood Caverns | 850 m | x1.20 | Sherwood rock, green in the dark |
| Mushroom Hollows | 1150 m | x1.25 | Sporestone |
Deeper zones are also where the rarest ore lives. Use the depth map (M) to see how far down you are, and the ore index (I) to see which ore you have already found.
Ores and values
Each ore has a base value in US dollars, converted to ETH at the live price when you cash out. Base values are multiplied by the zone multiplier above, up to a ceiling of $5 per piece. Ruby and emberstone have a flat price and ignore the multiplier.
| Ore | Base value | Found in |
|---|---|---|
| Coal | $0.10 | Diggings, Fossil Sea |
| Copper | $0.20 | Diggings, Fossil Sea, Frozen Deep |
| Iron | $0.25 | Diggings, Fossil Sea, Frozen Deep |
| Silver | $0.30 | Fossil Sea, Frozen Deep |
| Fossil | $0.32 | Fossil Sea |
| Amber | $0.35 | Fossil Sea |
| Gold | $0.40 | Frozen Deep, Magma Works, Sherwood Caverns, Mushroom Hollows |
| Rime crystal | $0.42 | Frozen Deep |
| Sapphire | $0.45 | Frozen Deep |
| Obsidian | $0.45 | Magma Works |
| Ruby | $0.50 flat | Magma Works, Sherwood Caverns, Mushroom Hollows |
| ETH crystal | $0.50 | Rare crystals |
| Emberstone | $0.55 flat | Magma Works |
| Platinum | $0.55 | Magma Works, Sherwood Caverns, Mushroom Hollows |
| Verdite | $0.65 | Sherwood Caverns, Mushroom Hollows |
| Diamond | $1.50 | Sherwood Caverns, Mushroom Hollows |
These are the values the server uses when you cash out. The game client shows the same numbers.
Seeing ore
Ore is hidden in solid rock. You find it the way a real miner would: by looking at the walls you can see, and by digging.
- Exposed ore sparkles. Ore on the surface of a cave or tunnel wall glints and glows, but only if you have a clear line of sight to it.
- Rock hides what is behind it. Ore inside a wall, around a corner or on the far side of a rock is never shown. Digging a tunnel does not turn the walls transparent.
- Squeezed against rock? When the camera is pushed into the rock, the game cuts the wall away so you can see your miner. Only the ore within arm's reach shows in that view.
- Your tool locks on only to what you can reach. The mining assist will not pick a target through a wall of rock.
The result: ore is found by exploring and digging, not by scanning.
Bag and hub
Everything you mine goes into your bag (B). The bag has limited slots, shown as BAG x / y. When it is full you have to sell.
- Press R to teleport back to the hub in the yard, then walk to the booth and press E to sell.
- The bag is saved on the server against your wallet. If you close the tab, your ore is still there next time you sign in.
- You can drop ore you do not want to carry.
The reward pool
This is where the ETH comes from, step by step.
- A 2% tax on every trade. Each buy and sell of $MINER pays a 2% tax. The tax is collected as creator fees on Robinhood Chain.
- 1% for the miners, 1% for the project. Half of everything the payout wallet claims goes into the miners' reserve. The other half stays with the project.
- The reserve drips into the pool. Every hour, 20% of the reserve becomes spendable. Because it is a share of what is left, the reserve decays but never reaches zero, and a burst of fees is spread over many hours instead of being paid out in one go.
- Miners are paid from the spendable pool. When you cash out, ETH is sent from the payout wallet, and only up to the caps in the next section.
Live numbers from the game server.
With no trades there are no fees, and with no fees there is nothing to pay. The game never pays miners from anything other than fees the coin has actually collected. The payout wallet is hard-limited to what it has claimed minus what it has already paid.
Caps and fairness
The rules below exist for one reason: so that one fast miner cannot take everything, and so that the pool is never empty for the next person.
| Rule | Value | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Hourly release | 20% of reserve | Spreads fees over time. The pool decays smoothly, never to zero. |
| Cap per cash out | 10% of spendable | No single payout can drain the pool. Each one shrinks it in steps. |
| Cap per wallet, per 24 h | 20% of the day's flow | The day's flow is the spendable pool plus what was paid in the last 24 h. One wallet cannot take more than a fifth of it. |
| Cash out cooldown | 10 minutes | Keeps payouts spread out and gives the pool time to refill. |
| Minimum holding | $20 of $MINER | Miners are holders of the coin whose fees pay them. |
What happens when your bag is worth more than the cap
The game sells your highest-value pieces first, up to the cap, and keeps the rest in your bag. Nothing is discounted, burned or lost. The leftover ore is paid on your next cash out, once the cooldown is over and the pool has refilled.
A worked example
Say $100,000 of $MINER is traded in a day. The 2% tax is $2,000, and the miners' 1% is $1,000 (about 0.33 ETH at $3,000). Suppose the spendable pool holds 0.30 ETH right now.
- A miner with a $12 bag (0.004 ETH): well under the cap of 0.03 ETH (10% of 0.30), so the whole bag is paid.
- A miner with a $300 bag (0.10 ETH): the cap is 0.03 ETH (about $90), so about $90 of the best ore is paid and about $210 stays in the bag for later.
- After that payout the pool is 0.27 ETH, so the next cap is 0.027 ETH. The pool keeps shrinking by a share, not by a fixed amount, which is why it cannot hit zero.
Cashing out
- Go back to the hub (R) and talk to the booth (E).
- The server checks that you are signed in, that you hold at least $20 of $MINER, and that your cooldown is over.
- It prices your bag, applies the caps, and sends the ETH from the payout wallet to your address.
- The payout appears in the live Wallets paid list with a link to the transaction on the explorer.
| Message | What it means |
|---|---|
| Hold at least $20 of the coin | Your wallet holds less than $20 of $MINER right now. Buy some, then try again. |
| Cooldown | You cashed out less than 10 minutes ago. Dig more and come back. |
| The treasury is low | The caps leave nothing payable at this moment. Your ore stays in the bag. |
| Payout failed, your bag is safe | The transaction could not be sent. Your ore is untouched. Try again. |
Estimate your income
This is a rough model of how much the miners' pool receives and what an average active miner could share. It is not a promise: real results depend on real volume and on how many people dig.
The per-miner figure is an even split. In practice you earn what your bag is worth, within the caps above, so a faster digger takes more of the same pool.
Security
- Sign-in is a signed message. Nothing is sent on chain, nothing is approved, and the message says so. The server verifies the signature against your address.
- The server is the referee. Every piece of ore, the contents of your bag and every payout are recorded and checked server-side. Editing the page in your browser cannot create ETH.
- Ore is validated. Each pickup must be a real ore for the depth you are at, can only be counted once, and is rate-limited.
- Payouts are fee-backed. The payout wallet pays out only what it has claimed from creator fees, never its own balance.
- We never ask for your seed phrase, never DM you, and never ask you to send funds anywhere to receive a reward.
The coin
$MINER is the coin behind Deepminer. It lives on Robinhood Chain. The only valid contract address is the one shown on the $MINER page. Copy it from there and compare it on the explorer.
Holding $MINER does three things: it lets you cash out, it decides your tool, and its trading fees fill the pool you are paid from.
Risks
Deepminer is a game with a coin attached. Rewards depend on trading volume and are not guaranteed. The coin's price can fall to zero. You can lose everything you put in. Nothing on this site is financial advice. Only use money you can afford to lose.
Deepminer is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Robinhood Markets, Inc. It runs on Robinhood Chain because that is where the coin lives.
FAQ
Do I need to buy the coin to play?
You can dig with the starting pickaxe without it. To cash out you need at least $20 of $MINER in the wallet you signed in with.
Can the pool run dry?
Not from a single miner. Payouts are capped at 10% of the spendable pool, each wallet is limited to 20% of the day's flow, and the pool is refilled from fees all the time. If it is low, your ore waits in the bag.
Why did I only get part of my bag paid?
The cap per cash out applied. The highest-value pieces were sold first and the rest stayed in your bag. They are paid on a later cash out.
Does a bigger tool pay more?
No. A bigger tool digs faster. Ore is paid the same for everyone and the caps are the same for everyone.
Why can't I see ore through the walls?
On purpose. Ore is only visible when you have a clear line of sight to it. That keeps finding ore a matter of exploring and digging.
Which network and wallets?
Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663) and any EVM wallet in the browser. The game offers to add the network.
I switched wallets. Where is my bag?
Your bag belongs to the wallet you signed in with. Switch back and sign in to see it.
Where can I check payouts?
Every payout is a normal ETH transfer on Robinhood Chain. The Wallets paid list in the game links each one to the explorer.
